The Gulf Coast Venture Forum (”the Forum”) is a Florida non-profit corporation, formed in 2001. It was founded by local business leaders, economic development professionals and university administrators. Their combined goal was to create a more diverse economy for Southwest Florida and create a linkage between local Angel Investors and local Entrepreneurs in order to launch more high growth companies in our region.

The GCVF is responsible for initial screening of business plans, selecting presenting companies and holding monthly meetings. The GCVF is NOT a broker/dealer, securities exchange, investment advisor or matching service and it is not registered as such with the SEC. In making investment decisions, GCVF members will rely on their own examination of the securities issuer, the terms of the securities and other due diligence information including the presentation material at the GCVF meeting.
